Working Out in the End
My buddy Josh is on his summer training program for ISU and I've been doing the program with him. That is I've been trying to do the program with him. After the illness a few weeks back, I've been really struggling in my workouts. I have had some decent days but all and all it's been a struggle. However tonight was the crown jewel in the ISU summer training program (at least in my mind). The workout is 3 x 2 miles at 10:10. With the temp being 92 degrees today we stayed off the track and hit the rolling trails of Hawthorn Park. So here's how it shook out...

It was a very strong workout for me. While I didn't chase Josh on the first one, it was my goal to run all 3 under 10:20 so it was a very strong workout for me. Hope everyone's running is going well. I'll have a post about the new book I'm reading in the next few days.
