Where do you go Cotton Eyed Joe???
Lately this state of mass confusion in which I'm always busy but nothing gets done hs been WAY too much. It realy seems like I'm constantly doing something but I feel so out of touch with everything. Here's what I do know...
1. We are in the toughest conference in the state in Track and Cross. Friday night we finished 7th on both the boys and the girls sides and won only TWO events. (3200 on both girls and boys sides) It was in Indianapolis so we got home at like 12:30 am.
2. Josh is finally on the mend. My buddy who had a tumor removed from his calf a year and a half ago dropped 30 seconds in 30 days from his 5K PR. He ran 15:38 putting him on good pace to make the team at ISU in the fall. Even though ISU had 6 underclassman break 15:00 Saturday night.
3. My workout on Saturday SUCKED!!! Not because it was windy and slow (which it was) but because I felt like crap doing it. (2 x 800 "2:29/ 2:29" / 4 x 400 "68/69/68/69" / 8 x 200 "30/30/30/31/32/31/31/30")
4. Last nights track meet got cancelled because of the snow/hail/sleet...so much for spring being here. Now if it keeps me from having to mow the lawn again quit so soon I'll be set.
5. I'm about half done with "The Traveler" and it is an interesting book. It's not my normal type of book but hey I'll read about anything.
Hope everyone is doing good, sorry I haven't keep up with everyoen the last few weeks but everything has been nuts.

2. Yes!!! This is what it's all about. That's what makes me want to work harder.
3. The workout ROCKED!!!
4. Wimps, er, pansies. My lawn is overgrown. I'm saving it to loosen up after the Mini.
5. Never heard of it. I need to read more.
I'm doing great!!!!!
Regarding #3, it's good (for my ego) to see that you're mortal! I've run interval workouts where my 400's were in the 68-75 range. Of course I didn't do any 200s or 800s with them, and 68 is the best I've done, but it's cool to see that for one lap in training I was able to keep up with someone of your speed. :)
